Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. OUR COMMERCIAL STANDING

Go Science serves as a curator and authorized reseller of selected DIY, STEM, and educational kits.
We do not manufacture, alter, or service these items.
All warranties, repairs, replacements, refunds, and after-sales support (where applicable) remain exclusively with the product’s manufacturer or their authorized representatives.
Should you require assistance, we would be pleased to share the relevant manufacturer's contact details as available in public domain such as their website.

2. SERVICEABLE AREA & DELIVERY PRIVILEGE

Delivery is offered exclusively to PIN codes published in our Serviceable Area—as indicated on our website, this Policy, and via our Delivery Checker.
Complimentary delivery applies to every order of ₹999 or more to eligible addresses.
Should your PIN code fall outside our listed areas, we warmly invite you to select Pick Up In Store at checkout, enabling collection at your convenience from our designated retail hub.
Go Science retains the right to decline, cancel, or reschedule deliveries to addresses that are inaccessible, unsafe, or otherwise deemed unsuitable, at our sole discretion, with or without providing reasons.

3. LOGISTICS PARTNERS & TRANSFER OF RISK

Orders are entrusted exclusively to third-party logistics providers (e.g., but not limited to, Porter, Rapido, Shiprocket, Shadowfax).
These providers operate independently and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Go Science.
By placing an order, you expressly acknowledge and irrevocably accept all terms, conditions, privacy policies, and practices of these logistics providers.
Once a parcel is collected by a logistics partner, title and all associated risks transfer immediately to you.
Go Science assumes no liability for any act, omission, or conduct of any logistics provider or their personnel, including, without limitation, events during transit.
All transit-related queries should be directed solely to the respective logistics provider.

4. DELIVERY TIMELINES

Within our serviceable area, first delivery attempts typically occur within one (1) to four (4) hours following order confirmation and payment authorisation.
This timeframe serves as an indicative guide rather than a guarantee. External circumstances—such as, without limitation, weather, traffic conditions, or regulatory delays—may affect actual delivery times.
Go Science is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from such variations.

4A. RETAIL AND QUICK COMMERCE OPERATING MODEL

Go Science operates through an integrated retail and quick commerce model, enabling customers to either shop directly at our physical retail stores or place eligible online orders for local express delivery within our published serviceable PIN codes.

During regular business hours and the applicable active delivery period, eligible online orders are fulfilled through our quick commerce express delivery service.

Under this model, customers within eligible serviceable PIN codes may choose between:

Retail Store Shopping: Customers may visit and purchase directly from the applicable Go Science retail store during its operating hours.

Quick Commerce Express Delivery: Customers may place eligible online orders for same day express delivery, with first delivery attempts ordinarily targeted within approximately one (1) to four (4) hours following successful order confirmation and payment authorisation.

Accordingly, Go Science's regular operating model combines physical retail with same day 1 to 4 hour quick commerce express delivery for eligible online orders placed during the applicable active delivery period.

The availability of quick commerce express delivery remains subject to the relevant Go Science store being operational, the customer's PIN code being serviceable, product and inventory availability, logistics availability, and the other conditions contained in this Policy.

4B. EXTENDED ORDERING OUTSIDE REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS, SAME DAY AND NEXT WORKING DAY EXPRESS DELIVERY

In response to customer demand, feedback, and requests for greater ordering convenience, Go Science has extended its online ordering facility beyond regular active business and delivery hours.

This extended facility means that customers do not necessarily have to wait for the relevant Go Science store or active delivery period to open before placing an order.

Eligible customers may continue to place online orders before the relevant store opens for the day and after the regular active delivery period for that day has concluded, wherever this facility is made available by Go Science.

The purpose of this extended ordering model is to allow customers to complete their purchase at a time convenient to them while continuing to benefit from Go Science's local express fulfilment model when the relevant store becomes operational.

The applicable fulfilment process depends upon when the order is placed.

Orders placed during regular active business and delivery hours: Eligible orders are ordinarily processed through our normal quick commerce model for same day express delivery, ordinarily within approximately 1 to 4 hours, subject to the conditions stated in this Policy.

Orders placed before the relevant store opens on a working day: The customer may place the order in advance. The order is ordinarily taken up for packing, processing, and dispatch when the relevant Go Science store opens and becomes operational that day. The order is then processed through our local express fulfilment model for same day express delivery, subject to the applicable delivery window and operational conditions.

Orders placed after the regular active delivery period has concluded: Customers may continue to place eligible orders online after that day's active express delivery period has ended. Such orders are ordinarily taken up for packing, processing, and dispatch when the relevant Go Science store next opens and becomes operational on the next applicable working day, and are then processed through our local express fulfilment model for next working day express delivery.

Accordingly, the extended Go Science ordering model allows eligible orders to be placed outside regular active delivery hours while retaining the convenience of same day or next working day express fulfilment, depending upon the time the order is placed and the next operating period of the relevant store.

For example, an eligible order placed before a Go Science store opens on a normal working day may be processed when the store opens and fulfilled through the same day express delivery process.

An eligible order placed after the active delivery period has concluded may be received by Go Science immediately but will ordinarily be taken up for packing and dispatch when the relevant store next opens on the next applicable working day, following which it will be processed through the next working day express delivery process.

Where the immediately following calendar day is not a working day for the relevant store because of a weekly off, holiday, staff leave, temporary closure, operational pause, or another circumstance affecting store operations, the order will ordinarily be taken up for processing and dispatch when that store next opens and becomes operational on an applicable working day.

For clarity, where an order is placed outside the applicable active delivery period, any 1 to 4 hour express delivery indication should be understood with reference to the applicable fulfilment period after the relevant Go Science store opens and becomes operational, and not as a 1 to 4 hour period commencing from the time the order was placed while the store or active delivery operation was closed. An order placed before opening on a working day will ordinarily enter the same day express fulfilment process when the relevant store opens. An order placed after that day's active delivery period has concluded will ordinarily enter the next working day express fulfilment process when the relevant store next opens on an applicable working day.

Orders placed through this extended ordering facility remain normal Go Science orders. They do not represent the booking or reservation of a specific delivery appointment or delivery slot.

Depending upon the time of ordering and the operating status of the relevant store, the Go Science website may display fulfilment information including, but not limited to, same day delivery, next day delivery, next working day delivery, receive today, receive tomorrow, a 1 to 4 hour delivery estimate, an estimated arrival time range, or an expected dispatch or delivery period.

Go Science makes its best reasonable efforts to adhere to the delivery timings, arrival windows, dispatch periods, and fulfilment indications displayed or communicated to customers.

However, all such timings, including 1 to 4 hour estimates, same day indications, next day indications, next working day indications, receive today messages, receive tomorrow messages, and specific estimated time windows, are estimates and indicative guidance only. They do not constitute a guarantee, assurance, commitment, or promise that an order will be packed, dispatched, or delivered at an exact stated time.

Actual packing, processing, dispatch, rider assignment, transit, and delivery may be affected by various external and operational circumstances including, but not limited to, weather conditions, traffic conditions, road restrictions, logistics partner availability, delivery personnel or rider availability, unusually high order volumes, staff schedules, staff availability, staff leave, unexpected operational requirements, temporary store closures or pauses, inventory discrepancies, technical or payment system issues, government or regulatory restrictions, safety considerations, and other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Go Science.

Accordingly, a delivery estimate or delivery window displayed at the time an order is placed may subsequently change depending upon actual operating conditions.

Where Go Science becomes aware of a material circumstance affecting an accepted order and considers customer input necessary, our team will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer using the mobile number provided with the order and/or by sending a communication to the email address associated with the order.

Where contact is established, Go Science and the customer may mutually discuss the circumstances and determine an appropriate course of action.

Depending upon the circumstances, this may include proceeding with fulfilment at a revised estimated time, retaining the order for the next appropriate working fulfilment period, or agreeing upon another mutually acceptable resolution.

Where fulfilment ultimately becomes impracticable and, following discussion with the customer, cancellation and refund are mutually determined to be the appropriate resolution, Go Science may provide a refund up to the amount actually paid for the affected order, subject to applicable law and the limitation of liability stated elsewhere in this Policy.

A variation or delay beyond an estimated 1 to 4 hour, same day, next day, next working day, receive today, receive tomorrow, or other displayed delivery window does not, by itself, constitute non delivery or automatically create an entitlement to cancellation, compensation, or refund.

5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

You are kindly requested to provide a complete and accurate delivery address along with an active contact number. Please ensure an authorised recipient is available at the scheduled delivery time.
If delivery is unsuccessful due to recipient unavailability, non-responsiveness, or inaccurate details, the parcel will return to our hub with no second attempt.
Within fifteen (15) business days, you may collect the parcel personally (by appointment) or arrange your own courier at your expense. Parcels unclaimed beyond this period are considered respectfully forfeited without refund, exchange, or credit.
Acceptance: Delivery confirmation by our logistics partner—via signature, OTP, photo, or app timestamp—constitutes conclusive proof of delivery and receipt by the customer.

6. FINAL-SALE PRINCIPLE

All sales at Go Science are final. Returns, exchanges, or refunds are not available except where expressly mandated by law. We kindly advise reviewing all product details carefully prior to purchase.

7. PRODUCT DEFECTS & MANUFACTURER SUPPORT

In the event of a defect or quality issue, please contact the product’s manufacturer or authorised service centre directly.
Go Science and its logistics partners are not authorised to open, inspect, or accept returned merchandise. Manufacturer contact information is available upon request.

8. INDEMNITY & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By engaging in transactions with Go Science, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company, its owners/proprietor/partners, its directors, employees, and representatives from any claims or liabilities arising from a breach of this Policy, actions by logistics providers (e.g., but not limited to, loss, delay, or damage in transit), or manufacturer-governed product matters.
Go Science’s total liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, is limited strictly to the amount actually paid for the relevant order.
We bear no liability for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., but not limited to, natural disasters, regulatory restrictions, strikes).

9. ORDER FINALITY & NOTIFICATIONS

Orders, once confirmed, cannot be modified or cancelled.
Notifications about dispatch and delivery (e.g., but not limited to, SMS or email) are offered purely as courtesy communications and may be subject to network conditions and availability.

10. LEGAL JURISDICTION

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising hereunder.

11. TRANSPARENCY & UPDATES

We periodically review and update this Policy at our discretion without prior notice. The most current edition is always accessible on our website.
